Edge-Printed 8 mm Pin Gate Strap Hinge
A heavy-duty strap hinge for wood gates, 170 mm across (120 mm strap, 50 mm post leaf) and 40 mm wide, with 6 mm thick leaves. It's printed on its edge so gate sag pulls along the layer lines, not across them. The two leaves print already interlocked on five 18 mm knuckles with 0.5 mm clearance. Afterwards you drop an 8 mm steel pin or an M8 x 50 bolt through the 8.3 mm bore. The strap takes 6 staggered #10 screws (5.3 mm holes) and the post leaf takes 4, which spreads the load better than the tin hinges that sag in one season.
