Furnace Filter Swing-Aside Spring Retainer Clip
A 16 mm wide flex-finger clip that screws next to a furnace or return-air filter slot with one #8 or M4 screw (4.5 mm hole). It holds filters up to 24 mm thick (standard 1" nominal) with a sprung pressure nub, and the lift lip at the tip lets you flick it aside without tools when you swap the filter. It replaces the lost or broken sheet-metal turn-buttons on filter doors. The finger flexes in the layer plane, so it won't split along layer lines. Overall size is 70 x 32 x 16 mm.
