NEMA 17 And NEMA 23 Panel Drilling Template
This 84 x 84 mm drill guide plate lets you drill stepper motor mounting holes in sheet metal, plywood or acrylic. It has 12 mm tall guide bushings for both patterns: a 31 mm square for NEMA 17 (3.4 mm holes for M3) and a 47.14 mm square for NEMA 23 (5.5 mm holes for M5). There is also a 3.4 mm centre hole for the hole-saw pilot, which you use to cut the 22 mm (or larger) boss opening. V-notches on the edges line up with scribed centre lines, so the motor ends up square and centred without measuring.
