Flexure-Jaw Car Vent Clip With M4 Insert
A replacement for the vent-blade clip that snaps on cheap car phone mounts. A 1.6 mm compliant spring jaw with a grip nub pinches vent slats 1–3 mm thick against a ridged rigid tine, and a stop wall caps the jaw's travel at 2 mm so it can't be bent past yield. The 40 x 32 x 22 mm back pad takes an M4 heat-set insert (5.5 mm bore) in the centre plus two M3 clearance holes 28 mm apart, so you can bolt your old holder head back on.
