Hairpin Desk Leg Stripped-Screw Repair Plate
Fixes a hairpin or plate-mount desk leg whose wood screws have stripped out of the tabletop. The 110 x 110 x 7 mm plate goes on fresh wood with eight #8 wood screws (4.8 mm holes) set on tabs 144 mm across, clear of the old holes. The leg's steel plate then bolts on with M4 bolts and nuts that slide in four diagonal nut tracks (7.4 mm wide), so any hole pattern from about 3 in to 4.5 in square fits.
