Print-In-Place Recliner Cable Release Lever
This print-in-place universal replacement for a snapped recliner or sofa release handle mounts with three #8 wood screws. The 106 mm lever turns on a hollow 10 mm pivot pin that holds it in place, and the pin has a 5.5 mm bore so you can add an optional M5 bolt for extra strength. The lever pulls the recline cable through a 25 mm arm, about 4:1 leverage. That arm has an 8 mm pocket for the cable's ball or barrel end (up to about 7.5 mm across) and a 3 mm slot for the inner wire. The base has a 7 mm wide cradle for the cable housing and a stop the housing end pushes against, so you don't need the exact branded part.
