Raccoon-Proof Bin Lid Snap Latch
A latch that bolts to the outside of a trash or storage bin and holds the lid down. A 3 mm flexing beam with a 10 mm catch tooth snaps over the lid edge, and a pull tab lets a human open it. Two M5 bolts go through a 36 mm wide, 6 mm thick back plate, and each bolt column has three holes (24, 32 and 40 mm up) so you can match the height of your lid rim.
