TO-220/TO-247 Jack-Screw Heatsink Clamp Bridge
A 62 x 23 x 12 mm U-shaped bridge that clamps a TO-220 or TO-247 transistor or regulator flat against a heatsink. Two M3 screws (3.4 mm clearance holes, 46 mm apart) go through the feet into the heatsink. An M3 jack screw in a 4.0 mm heat-set insert at the top of the bridge presses down on the package, so you don't have to drill and tap through the tab or use an insulating bushing. The opening under the bridge is 18 mm wide x 12 mm high.
