Towel Bar Drywall Load-Spreader Plate
This 140 x 76 mm wall plate goes behind a towel bar, TP holder or robe hook post that keeps pulling out of drywall. It spreads the load across eight countersunk #8 (4.2 mm) screw holes, so you can use anchors or catch a stud. The hardware's bracket bolts to the raised 8 mm cross with M4 screws. The M4 nuts sit in hidden 7.3 mm channels on the wall side, and 4.5 mm slots let the bolts land anywhere within ±25 mm both horizontally and vertically, so it fits almost any bracket spacing.
