Booklet Saddle-Stitch Stapling Jig

This 160 x 60 mm stapling block lets an ordinary desk stapler saddle-stitch a booklet's spine. Swing the stapler open, lay the booklet face-out with its fold over the 2.6 mm x 6 mm deep centre channel and staple through it. Standard 6 mm staple legs drop into the channel, and you then fold them flat by hand. A 12 mm head-stop fence squares the top edge of the booklet, and edge ticks every 10 mm (long ticks at 50, 100 and 150 mm) let you repeat staple spacing across a stack of zines or A5/half-letter programs.
