Compliant Spring-Bolt Sash Tilt Latch
This one-piece surface-mount latch replaces cracked tilt latches on vinyl single- and double-hung sashes, and it also works as a spring catch for gates and cabinets. A 10 mm ramped bolt sticks out 5 mm and pulls back 6.5 mm by its thumb tab. A printed serpentine spring with nine 1.2 mm beams pushes it back out, so there is no metal spring to source. The 68 x 31 x 8.4 mm housing mounts with two 4.5 mm holes for #6/#8 pan-head screws or M4.
