Dryer Vent Hood Print-In-Place Flap Retrofit

This 150 x 150 mm frame screws onto the flat face of an outside 4 in (102 mm) dryer vent hood whose plastic flap has snapped off. It replaces the flap only, so you don't have to buy a whole new hood. A 116 x 106 mm ribbed flap is printed in place on a 5 mm pin hinge with 0.5 mm clearance. Dryer exhaust pushes the flap open, gravity closes it, and it rests against the hood rim to keep out backdraft and pests. Four slotted holes take #8 screws (4.8 mm wide) and allow ±5 mm of adjustment.
