Picture Frame Band Clamp Corner Block
This corner block is for strap or band clamps when you glue up mitred picture frames and boxes. Print four. Each block has a pair of 90° jaws, 40 mm long and 21 mm tall, that hold the frame square. A rounded R12 outer face lets the strap wrap without kinking, and a 3 mm bottom lip keeps a strap of any width from sliding off. A 3 mm leveling ledge holds all four corners in one plane, and a 6 mm through-hole at the inside corner lets glue squeeze-out drip away so the joint doesn't glue itself to the block.
