Set-Screw Towel Bar Socket For 16-25 mm Rods
This replacement towel bar end socket takes any round rod from 16 to 25 mm, including 5/8, 3/4 and 1 in bars. The rod is clamped by an M4 set screw that threads into a captured nut. The socket sits on a 55 mm standoff arm. Two vertical slots for #8 screws (4.8 mm wide, 6 mm of travel) let the 74 x 30 mm wall plate line up with old holes, so you can save the existing bar when a ceramic or pot-metal bracket snaps off and the matching set is no longer sold.
