Six-Key Flexure Button Panel For Tact Switches
This is a one-piece 80 x 72 x 6 mm front panel with six 14 mm keys. Each key sits on a 1.2 mm-thick living-flexure tongue, and a 5 mm nub on the back presses a tact switch soldered to perfboard behind it. The keys sit on a 22.86 x 30.48 mm grid that matches 2.54 mm perfboard. Four 3.4 mm M3 clearance holes on a 71.12 x 60.96 mm rectangle take standoffs: pick the standoff length that suits your switch height, so the panel does not depend on one switch size.
